My Story

Hi I'm Lukas and for a while I've been wanting to have chickens. I'm not entirely sure how we ended up with pigs instead, it was chickens, then ostriches for some reason, finally we settled on pigs. Dad thought it was a good idea for me to learn where food comes from, and liked the idea of me learning how to build a business (so I can finally have an allowance!). Sorry not an allowance, my dad says no allowances, "So you can earn money from the profit off your pigs." That's what dad says. Anyway, that's how we get to today and my new PIGGIE BUSINESS!

My Pigs

My pigs are a Tamworth breed which are great rooters, and perfect for our wooded area. These pigs are hearty, very social, and always hungry. You won't find these kind of pigs in factory pig settings because they are bred for outdoor and an active life, not factory floors.

I've given my piggies names, although all my neighbors keep asking me why since they are going to be meat one day.

The big one is Bacon, she is the boss of the pack.

The small one is Oinky, she trails behind the others.

The lighter skined one is Elvira, who's name I don't understand but my dad likes it.

BTW, I can make all of my pigs fall asleep standing up by rubbing their bellies. Which is a great laugh when they fall over from sleeping.
